![]() I'm very new to SQL but I have had my boots on the ground with Access for a while. Me.user_update_field_1.RowSource = "SELECT DISTINCT Vendors. I'm new here, and actually registered for this problem alone. Me.user_field_1.RowSource = "SELECT DISTINCT Vendors.cmpnt_mfr_name FROM Vendors " Click Add again to enter a second list item. ![]() Enter a display name and value for the first list item. In the dialog box, under the section Drop-down List Properties, click the Add button. If user_selection_1 = "Manufacturer" Then 'make column manufacturer column In the dialog box, under the section General, enter a Title of the combobox. Private Sub user_selection_1_AfterUpdate() 'user_selection_1 is the combo box and user_update_field_1 is a control that data will be copied from to numerous records That worked but I have a command button programed to update a number of records using a runSQL and requery commands. The combo box is not bound to the record source and I have since added some code that set the combo box value to the value selected.
